We could be in for a very busy NBA tampering/free agency/whatever you want to call it period.

The news about LeBron sent shockwaves through the league. It has been expected for a few days now since the rumors of a potential move to the Warriors with Anthony Davis made the rounds. However, we’ve seen prediction and betting markets move Cleveland to favorites in some places.

The Anthony Davis part of the equation seems to be the most difficult part, as the Wizards seem to think a combo of Trae Young and Anthony Davis with all of their former first-round picks will be enough in the East, but Davis has been lukewarm, at best, about being in DC. Why Washington wouldn’t at least explore a Davis trade is questionable.

While the LeBron situation is up in the air, Kawhi Leonard going to Toronto takes another big name off the board. He joins Giannis, who was traded to the Heat, and Ja Morant, who was traded to the Blazers, as big names on the move, with a few more expected to move.

We can expect moves for LeBron James, Jaylen Brown, Jalen Duran, Jimmy Butler, and more. With a busy summer on tap in the NBA, it should make for some interesting prospecting opportunities for basketball this summer in the hobby.
